Washington, D.C. - Gross National Product is the comedy group called
"always funny" by the Washington Post who turns "this morning's
headlines into this evening's punch lines." GNP has been in the
political funny business since 1982 with hilarious fast-paced revues
such as "Man Without A Contra," "A Newt World Order, "Hell To The
Chief," "Son of a Bush," "Don"t Tea on Me," to name a few and
soon babble to babble coverage that will "Mock the Vote." GNP's
fast-paced revue skewers news-makers and news-breakers,
and has appeared in its own specials for PBS. GNP has performed
for the National Press Club, the Smithsonian Arts Series, at the Bayou
and nationwide. Also GNP performs privately for groups, conventions, corporate events and government.
The Scandal Tours is an irreverent
tour hosted by members of Gross National Product which highlights
the lowlifes in the Nation's Capital. From the Fondling Fathers to Watergate to the U.S. Congress, GNP's Scandal
Tours is the original comedy drive-by-on-wheels which hit the
pavement in 1988 following Gary Hart and Donna Rice's backdoor debut
to scandal fame and less fortune. Entertainment Tonight says "if
voyeurism is your thing, there is a beauty of a tour in DC," and
the Wall Street Journal calls it "a comedy feast." The tour is available
to groups year-round to enTOURtain groups.
